In fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that solar photovoltaic (PV) installers will grow in employment by 51% by 2029.
Wind Turbine Technicians
Wind turbines are another important part of the clean energy revolution. But these machines need regular service and repair, which creates a need for skilled technicians. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in this area will rise by a stunning 61% by 2029.
Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Steamfitters
Plumbers and pipefitters are always in demand, with a Bureau of Labor Statistics projected growth in employment of 4% by 2029. However, part of the American Jobs Plan calls for replacing 100% of the lead pipes in the United States. Should this make it into law, there will be an immense need for people to perform this work.
Electricians
The construction industry has been doing quite well right through the pandemic, and it shows no sign of slowing.
